Join us at the Mississinewa 1812 monument along the Marion Riverwalk,  for this special service hosted by the Mississinewa Battlefield Society. The service honors all those fallen in duty through the generations that came before us. Hosted by the Mississinewa Battlefield Society, the program reflects the organization's mission to commemorate the Battle of Mississinewa and honor all those who perished, soldier and Native American alike. Largest War of 1812 living history event in the U. S.  Battle re-enactments, reconstructed Indian village, trapper camps, sutlers, traditional craftsmen, food purveyors, and musicians.  The Battle of Mississinewa 1812 commemorates the battle fought here between 600 federal troops and British-allied Indians.
