MLK Day Concert at Taylor University

As part of the celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day at Taylor University, the nationally recognized Indianapolis Jazz Orchestra will present a free concert of jazz music by notable African-American composers, singers, and bands who have contributed significantly to the Great American Songbook. This program will include popular hit music by Nat King Cole, Natalie Cole, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Sammy Davis, Jr., Stevie Wonder and Ella Fitzgerald. The orchestra is directed by Taylor University adjunct professor Jeff Anderson.

Taylor University MLK Day

Commemoration of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through various programming on campus. Guest speakers, chapel service, special lectures and educational forums throughout the day. All events are free and open to the public.
