Quilt Exhibit – Arnold Savage: My Family’s Life in Textiles

This quilt exhibit features quilts by Arnold Savage and his family members. The quilts date from the 1880’s to the present and include a wide variety of traditional and contemporary designs and fabrics.  Exhibit open Tues-Sat 1oam-4pm.   $4 General Admission, Seniors (65+) and Students $3, children under 12 no admission charge when accompanied by an adult. Groups $3 per person. Tuesday – Saturday.

Quilters Hall of Fame Celebration

Auctions, house tours, workshops, exhibits, and lectures by some of the biggest names in quilting, as well as the induction of the new honoree, Xenia Cord. Xenia owns Legacy Quilts, an antique quilt brokerage and from 1990-2001 produced ‘Quilt America!’, a national convention for quilt enthusiasts. Displays, exhibits, appraisals,workshops, classes and lectures taught by the leading quilt experts held at Marion Public Library, the Marie Webster House,  Sunnycrest Baptist Church, the Matter Park Garden House, and the Roseburg Event Center.
