Black History Celebration Dinner Theatre

Join us as we celebrate Black History Month at the historic Hostess House.  Delicious buffet dinner 6pm. $12 per person.  The Marion High School Black History Club under the direction of Bobbie Owensby will present ‘In This Corner: Cassius Clay’ highlighting the early life of Mohammed Ali. Marion High School presents ‘And In This Corner: Cassius Clay’

The Black History Club of Marion High School presents this play about the early years of Cassius Clay, Jr., who became Muhammad Ali. The vibrant historical drama focuses on the iconic boxer’s early life in Jim Crow – era Louisville, Kentucky. A classic story of an unlikely hero, the play explores how remarkable communities help to create heroes. Tickets $7.

Million Egg Hunt

Easter egg hunt on the Marion Giants football field for kids ages 2 to 12, and special needs kids.  Free giveaways- bikes, baskets and stuffed animals! Sponsored by New Life Community Church.
